Senior Reporter

Key Responsibilities1. Reporting & Writing

• Produce accurate, timely news articles, broadcasts, or multimedia reports on political developments.
• Break down complex policy and legislative issues into clear, accessible stories.
• Write both hard news and in-depth analysis pieces.

2. Research & Investigation

• Monitor government agencies, legislative bodies, political campaigns, and public records.
• Conduct investigative reporting on political decisions, conflicts of interest, and policy impacts.

3. Interviews & Sources

• Develop and maintain relationships with political sources, including elected officials, aides, analysts, and advocacy groups.
• Conduct interviews and press conference questioning to gather firsthand information.

4. Live Coverage

• Provide real-time updates during elections, debates, legislative sessions, and breaking political events.
• Participate in on-air segments, podcasts, or social media reporting as needed.
• Engage audiences through online platforms and monitor political conversations on social media.
