Senior React JS Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior React.js Developer who brings both technical expertise and excellent communication skills to the table. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with clients, understanding business needs, and delivering modern, high-quality front-end solutions. This role is not a people management or tech lead position , but requires someone confident in handling stakeholder discussions, contributing to solutioning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across time zones. Hands-on experience with Mini App development, AWS/Azure deployments, and Docker is highly desirable. Role Expectations: Develop high-performance and responsive UIs using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Build and maintain Mini Apps within larger ecosystems (e.g., Super Apps, partner platforms). Engage with clients regularly to understand requirements, demo features, and gather feedback. Translate business requirements into functional components with clarity and speed. Collaborate with back-end engineers, designers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration. Optimise performance and ensure a consistent user experience across browsers and devices. Ensure application reliability, accessibility, and securityespecially for FinTech-grade apps. Contribute to technical documentation and participate in code reviews and best practices. Must Have Skills: 10+ years of front-end development experience with React.js (latest versions). Strong grasp of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end architecture. Experience building Mini Apps (e.g., WeChat, Super Apps, etc.) or modular front-end micro apps. Comfortable working with AWS and/or Azure for front-end deployment and services. Proficient in using Docker for local development and containerised deployments. Excellent verbal and written communication; must be comfortable in client-facing discussions. Capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Background Experience working in or with FinTech or banking clients. Understanding of compliance, data privacy (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR), and regulatory constraints. Good to Have Experience with front-end state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.). Exposure to FinTech platforms – digital banking, lending, wallets, payments, etc. Understanding of security best practices, especially for financial-grade applications. Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, Cypress), CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows. Prior experience working in agile/scrum teams and using tools like JIRA, Confluence
