About the Role:

Viable Outsource Solution is hiring an experienced Senior QuickBooks Accountant with strong bookkeeping expertise and a proven background working with US and Canadian clients. The ideal candidate must be confident, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple clients independently while ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with US & Canadian accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple US/Canada clients using QuickBooks Online & Desktop.
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations with precision.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
• Process US & Canada payroll (mandatory).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain well-organized and compliant financial records.
• Communicate directly with US/Canada clients to resolve queries and ensure account accuracy.
• Follow US GAAP basics and Canadian accounting guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior accounting team members (preferred).
• Recommend improvements to workflow and accounting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).
• Strong exposure to US & Canadian accounting systems (mandatory).
• Sound knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, and compliance rules for both regions.
• Experience with Xero is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple clients.
• Team-leading or mentoring experience is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in the night shift.
