Job Description

1. Drive the PGS business objectives across all quality-related KPI metrics:

  • Provide advanced technical support to factories and build robust quality improvement plans.
  • Lead supplier training on PGS quality requirements, standards & SOPs. • Build Supplier capabilities on self-inspection systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage pre-production meetings as per the risk matrix.
  • Monitor production quality risks, perform inline checks, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are effectively implemented.

• Manage on time PP meeting /1st Inline/2nd inline /final/ inspection effectively.

  • Monitor & Keep track of the production quality risks during production. Also prior to production with risk analysis & PP.

• Build factory capability for sustainable quality systems, ensuring accountability for CAPs and defect prevention.

  • Track, analyse, and report supplier performance against KPIs using data tools.
  • Partner with internal teams (QA, Merchandising) to resolve issues proactively and avoid production delays.
  • Provide strong representation of PGS policies and quality requirements to both suppliers and external stakeholders.

2) Engage and Cultivate through Best Method

  • Provide advanced technical guidance to factories on process improvements and quality engineering solutions.

• Train and coach supplier QC and 3rd party teams on PGS quality requirements and self-inspection systems.

• Develop sustainable factory capabilities to prevent defects at source and reduce customer claims.

• Share and implement best practices across factories to build a culture of continuous improvement.

3) Leadership Coaching

• Act as a mentor to supplier QC teams and internal QE colleagues, promoting accountability and ownership.

• Guide suppliers in implementing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) with measurable outcomes.

  • Support succession planning by developing the next level of factory and QE leadership capability.

• Lead with integrity, professionalism, and a strong focus on building collaborative relationships.

• Ensure Don’t Walk By” culture is applied in daily practice, driving proactive engagement with issues.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate with degree / diploma in Textile Technology or relevant field.
  • 08 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English also good at MS office
  • Independently, responsible, detail-oriented, flexible, and good team player.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skill to interact with all levels, both external and internal.
  • Good knowledge about the full cycle of fabric quality under specific GSM's and the after treatments for a required finish.
