Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Accountable of the quality of work, ensuring it meets agreed-upon procedures, timelines, and customer expectations, drive the end-to-end testing lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Build, maintain, and review test cases based on business requirements. Collaborate with teams to clarify project scope and ensure flawless project implementation. Partner with different teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software. Handle testing for new features and improvements, driving high-quality standards. Design and expand automated testing suites using Java Selenium and Karate/REST Assured. Maintain and improve automated testing frameworks, supporting releases to customers with robust testing practices. Skills & Experience Required Approximately 5 years of shown experience in quality engineering, with a good foundation in manual testing and structured automated test writing. Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience using test management tools like Jira. Hands-on experience with the full test lifecycle, including planning, analysis, execution, and reporting. Familiarity with or a strong curiosity about working within an agile software development environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, combined with a proactive approach and Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Cucumber, good experience in test automation programming, preferably using Java and working knowledge on Selenium and Karate/REST API test automation practices. having an experience in API testing with postman. Strong knowledge of shift-left testing methodologies and non-functional testing and Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Git-based repositories, Jenkins, and Jira. Collaborative teammate with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks optimally, and prioritise multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
