Senior Quality Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Role Overview: You are a seasoned IT Quality Sr Analyst who will be responsible for contributing to the development of new techniques and enhancing processes for the Treasury and FP&A Technology team. You will be required to integrate industry expertise within the defined area and evaluate complex issues with substantial impact. Your strong analytical skills and communication abilities will be crucial in assuming leadership roles within teams and influencing decisions through advice and counsel. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, lead, and execute testing automation strategy for CitiFTP, monitoring automation coverage and enhancing existing frameworks. - Design, develop, and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and data validation testing on Big Data/Hadoop platform. - Collaborate with testing areas, development teams, product owners, and business partners to integrate automation into the agile SDLC. - Develop robust test scripts, maintain automation suites, and enhance efficiency of regression and end-to-end testing. - Improve overall test coverage, defect detection, and release quality through automation. - Establish and track key QA metrics, advocate for best practices in test automation, and drive adoption of AI/ML-based testing tools. - Manage, mentor, and upskill a team of test engineers in automation practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. - Define career development paths, analyze trends at an organizational level, and ensure team members stay up to date with industry advancements. - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, drive compliance with laws and regulations, and supervise the activity of others with transparency and accountability. Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in functional and non-functional software testing - 3+ years of experience as Test Automation Lead - Expertise in test automation frameworks/tools like Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Cypress - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or any other programming/scripting language - Expertise in SQL, API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured), performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) - Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices, build tools like Maven/Gradle, continuous integration tools like Jenkins, source management tools like Git/GitHub - Familiarity with cloud-based test execution (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data testing (Spark, HDFS), database testing automation (Oracle, SQL) - Preferred experience with AI-driven test automation, advanced test data management strategies, certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Certified Agile Tester, or Selenium WebDriver certification - Exposure to banking/financial domains, particularly Treasury applications is a plus - Communication and diplomacy skills, ability to persuade and influence, hands-on in code review, unit testing, and integration testing - Confident, innovative, self-motivated, results-oriented, passionate about automation in quality engineering Education: - Bachelors/University degree,
