Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong skills in Manual Testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality by planning and executing tests, managing defects, and working closely with the development and product teams to support smooth, high-quality releases.

Work Mode: Work From Office (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

Review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure clarity and testability.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Perform manual testing for web applications, covering functional, integration, and regression testing.

Conduct API testing and basic database validation to ensure accuracy and data consistency.

Execute test cycles for releases, validate fixes, and ensure all deliverables meet expected quality standards.

Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect-tracking tools; follow up with development teams for timely resolution.

Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify issues, support testing needs, and ensure smooth release cycles.

Maintain organized test data, test results, and QA documentation.

Provide occasional guidance or support to junior QA team members when needed

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle processes.

Solid experience in manual testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience in API testing and backend validation.

Working knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.

Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Exposure to automation tools is an added advantage.
