Job Description

Senior Software Development Engineer Distributed Cloud (Quality Assurance)

hands-on technical leader

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop Automated Test Frameworks
and suites for the Distributed Cloud platform.
Collaborate with
developers, product managers, and QA engineers
to define
test strategies
and acceptance criteria.
Validate
complex distributed systems
across
multi-cloud environments
.
Perform
performance, scalability, and reliability testing
for global-scale workloads.
Create and maintain
test plans, test cases, and documentation
.
Participate in
design and code reviews
to ensure quality is built in.
Mentor
junior QA engineers
and promote
best practices in test automation
.
Investigate
production issues
and contribute to
root cause analysis
.

Top Key Skills & Experience

7+ years in Quality Assurance
, with
4+ years in automation
.
Strong programming skills in
Python, Go, or JavaScript
for test automation.
Expertise in
automation frameworks
: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (or similar).
Deep understanding of
distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
.
Hands-on experience testing in
cloud environments
: AWS, Azure, GCP.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of
