Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Quorum Software, you will play a crucial role in developing efficient and reusable automation code for new User Stories. Your responsibilities will include mentoring other QA automation engineers, reviewing automation code for compliance with best practices, designing and maintaining automation frameworks, and continuously improving automated test suites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work within Agile methodologies, and use test and defect tracking tools effectively. Additionally, you will identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges in test execution and provide guidance to junior team members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop efficient and reusable automation code for new User Stories and mentor other QA automation engineers. - Review automation code to ensure compliance with best coding practices and standards. - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to enhance test efficiency and reliability. - Continuously improve and update automated test suites, suggesting ideas for enhancements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate automation in the development lifecycle. - Participate in Agile methodologies through sprints, stand-ups, and planning sessions. - Utilize and manage test and defect tracking tools like JIRA effectively. - Identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges in test execution and communicate them to stakeholders. - Document changes and maintain clear test artifacts. - Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit with Java. - Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, Docker for CI/CD integration. - Basic knowledge of JavaScript and PL/SQL (Oracle). - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to automation challenges. - Good interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while mentoring junior team members. **Note:** Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.,
