Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong foundation in Python , Django , and SQL , with additional expertise in Cython being a significant advantage. The ideal candidate should be capable of re-engineering complex systems, demonstrating excellent logical and problem-solving skills, and maintaining a strong focus on delivery excellence . Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python Django frameworks. Design and optimize database queries and schemas using SQL . Re-engineer and improve existing codebases, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. Utilize Cython (if applicable) for performance-critical sections of the application. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Ensure the application meets functional and non-functional requirements, such as performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack. Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise. Required Skills Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in Python development. Proficient in developing web applications using Django . Strong experience with SQL for database design, optimization, and query performance tuning. Familiarity with Cython and its application for performance enhancement. Proven experience in system re-engineering and refactoring legacy codebases. Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines ( Delivery Excellence ). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
