Senior Python Data Engineer API

         Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications / pipelines / workflows using Python..

         Write, modify, debug, and maintain software code aligned with functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.

         Ensure development complies with software engineering standards, SDLC methodology, and release processes for scalability, maintainability, and support.

         Integrate multiple data sources (databases, APIs, files) and transform data efficiently.

         Knowledge on API concepts such as REST and interfacing using Python & JS.

         Collaborate with UI developers.

         Implement REST APIs and ensure secure, reliable communication between services.

         Work with SQL to store and retrieve application data.

         Implement best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

         Troubleshoot production issues and provide resolution with root cause analysis.

Experience:  8-10 years would be preferable.

         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 8 + years of software development experience

         Intermediate knowledge on Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, FastAPI / Flask / Django).

         Data Engineering experience (ETL pipelines, data models, orchestration).

         Knowledge on REST API and integration with any compatible application stack.

         Strong knowledge and working experience of API development using micro-services architecture with SOAP / REST services.

         Good SQL knowledge (Snowflake SQL).

         Experience with version control (Git / GitHub / Bitbucket).

         Experience working with cloud (AWS / Azure).

          Working experience with CI/CD build systems in an agile workflow (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
