About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance backend systems and integrating third-party APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy reliable backend services that support our next-generation applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI.
  
• Build asynchronous, event-driven services using Pythons async/await capabilities.
  
• Architect and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexing, and aggregations.
  
• Integrate with third-party APIs (authentication, payment, communication, etc.).
  
• Ensure security, data integrity, and performance optimization across all services.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following PEP 8 and best practices.
  
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
  
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams in an agile environment.
  
• Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub and assist with automated deployments.
  
• Monitor and optimize application performance; proactively resolve production issues.
