Leading Fire company Job description: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fire Senior Purchase Engineer/Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of fire safety equipment, materials, and services for our organization. This includes sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement of Fire Safety Equipment and Materials: - Source and evaluate suppliers of fire safety equipment and materials - Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers - Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures 2. Supplier Management: - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers - Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback - Ensure that suppliers comply with company requirements and industry standards 3. Purchase Order Management: - Create and manage purchase orders for fire safety equipment and materials - Ensure that purchase orders are accurate and complete - Track and expedite orders as necessary 4. Inventory Management: - Manage inventory levels of fire safety equipment and materials - Ensure that inventory is properly stored and maintained - Identify and implement opportunities for inventory reduction and cost savings 5. Budgeting and Cost Control: - Develop and manage budgets for fire safety equipment and materials - Ensure that purchases are made within budget - Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings 6. Compliance and Regulatory: - Ensure that all purchases comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards - Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards 7. Communication and Collaboration: - Communicate with internal stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and engineering teams - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that fire safety equipment and materials are properly installed, maintained, and inspected Requirements: 1. Education: - Any graduate, Procurement, or a related field 2. Experience: - Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the fire safety industry 3. Skills: - Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 4. Industry Knowledge: - Strong knowledge of fire safety equipment, materials, and services
