Senior Public Relations Manager

We at Orion PR are hiring.

We are looking for a Senior PR Account Manager who will be responsible to assist the team in campaign execution, media outreach and client servicing across sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Function as the primary strategic advisor to clients, managing daily aspects of their PR programs.
• Develop and execute media relations strategies, securing high-impact placements across print, broadcast, and digital media.
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
• Create, refine, and oversee compelling content — including media pitches, press releases, thought leadership articles, case studies, and presentations.
• Monitor, analyze, and report PR results to clients with a strong focus on data-driven insights.
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship and advertising on an on-going basis
• Demonstrate business development capabilities with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth.
• Drive account profitability, vendors, contracts, and deliverables with a focus on commercial efficiency.
• Create and Lead campaigns across PR and Digital platforms
• Mentor, lead and collaborate with a AEs, SAEs and interns across locations
• Identify gaps in internal processes and streamline them for improved efficiency.
• Possess strong knowledge of the media landscape, particularly in Technology, BFSI, and Consumer segments.
• Manage and strengthen client relationships to ensure retention, alignment with expectations, and overall satisfaction.
• Travel to other locations as needed for client mandates, media rounds and pitch requirements.

What we are looking for

• 5–8 years of experience in Public Relations, with proven leadership in client servicing and business development pitches.
• Strong media relations expertise, complemented by a solid understanding of digital, social, and influencer ecosystems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to going the extra mile.
• Ability to think critically, extract insights, and shape impactful PR stories.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability, the ability to execute plans effectively, manage challenges, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Communications or equivalent experience.
