Role Purpose
The Finance Factory Project Manager is responsible for leading projects related to organizational transformation, IT solutions, process improvement, and change management. This role requires a strategic approach to drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance Factory.
Key Responsibilities
Project Initiation:
- Conduct preliminary research and analysis to identify opportunities for organizational and process improvements.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, benefits, and stakeholders by designing a project charter and business case.
- Support the project approval process by effectively communicating with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Project Set-Up And Planning
- Plan and schedule projects with related cost estimation and scope control responsibilities.
- Design and document project structure, roles, and responsibilities.
- Develop a roadmap for the team and organize the team setup.
- Align project benefits to support business-case process improvement.
Project Execution
- Launch projects with dedicated kick-off meetings.
- Manage resources, task allocation, collaboration, and performance of the project team.
- Execute project management plans and monitor resource utilization.
- Organize status meetings and manage project deliverables effectively.
- Coordinate all project tasks and interdependencies, ensuring scope execution aligns with business needs.
- Develop and maintain all project documentation, ensuring proper storage in line with internal requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Project Steering
- Set up tracking systems and reporting mechanisms.
- Continuously identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risks.
- Track actuals in line with the project budget.
- Define, track, and report achievement of project milestones and success metrics through regular reporting.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and mitigation actions.
Project Closeout
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate project outcomes and future opportunities.
- Create a project punch list for incomplete tasks and collaborate with the Project Sponsor for resolution.
- Perform final project budget analysis and produce a final project report.
- Collect and store all project deliverables and documents in a centralized location.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years in project management or a related field.
- Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree in project management is preferred.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; other relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Technical & Tool Skills: Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, and travel management tools.
