Senior Professional, Project Controls

• BEng /BSc (Hon) degree or equivalent and have 10+ years post graduate experience in design and/ or construction project planning or planning related functions

BGV:

• Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification ( BGV ) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.


• Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process including documents uploaded is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner .

• To develop and maintain Program Master Schedules in Primavera P6


• Responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed


• Review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays


• Support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims by providing the required Primavera P6 program to support our submissions


• Preparing Monthly Schedule updates/reports and contributing in preparation of monthly reports


• Monitor and control the progress of work to be adhered to the planned schedule and achieving project milestone


• Generate executive summary reports for higher management


• Provide support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and construction activities in support of the program


• Ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects


• Accountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion


• Oversee construction schedule, perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress

Key Competencies / Skills:

Mandatory Skills

• Fully proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project


• Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and able to correlate Construction Activities with planning, and schedule control


• To have experience working for/ or with contractors or project management companies and can manage multiple projects simultaneously


• To be confident presenting to all stakeholders including contractors and clients


• To be experienced in working on claims from Claimant prospective & Client prospective using recommended practices for claims analysis in construction industry.


• Strong English language proficiency and communication skills


• High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
