Job Description The Senior product owner will find new and exciting ways to drive the business forward through the power of data. This role is within the Digital Fuel organization. This team is focused on bringing together data and technology capabilities to allow for the organization to become data driven in every decision to drive revenue and growth. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following Oversee the delivery of your specific data and analytics products, with a keen focus on insight automation and commercial execution across the sales and marketing ecosystem. You will drive the implementation of the end-to-end solutions from concept through development and deployment lifecycle, including budgeting, project management, problem solving and strategizing with business partners. The candidate will be required to partner with various business strategy and execution teams, internal data dev ops teams as well as with 3rd party vendors to design, develop, and scale these capabilities. Manage projects and influence resources across DevOps, data science, data governance and product management to execute the charter of the Commercial Data Analytics and Insights Effectively coordinate with many internal stakeholders where there will be influence but not authority Works independently under minimal guidance with regular alignment with management teams Provides formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential. Delivers results through others, leveraging the ability to lead through influence - performance measured on outcomes Leadership: Make sound decisions to enable the agile development team to optimize value delivery and encourage strategic thinking, innovation, and action Product Domain: Understand and drive the product domain from a technology perspective and how it adds value for our business stakeholders; accountable for owning the technical product domain relationship with business teams and third-party solutions providers, developers and internal Tech partners Technical Configuration/Customization: Assist Product Manager to drive the product domain roadmaps and prepare for PI Planning ceremonies by 1) collaborating on the decomposition of funded Epic work into deliverable Feature work, 2) planning triaged Idea and Demand Feature and Story work, 3) surfacing and managing product domain technical debt and internal improvement work; accountable for owning the prioritized product domain backlog, collaborating with the agile delivery team to plan committed and stretch Feature work delivery and accept story work as complete when delivered by the agile delivery team Governance & Product Assessment: Standardize product domain value delivery approach using vendor best practices Collaborate with the key business stakeholders and the Product Manager using product management techniques and data to drive product domain operational improvements and to influence the product domain vision, strategy and roadmap; partner closely with other customer data product owners and ensure alignment of the roadmap at a portfolio level Quality, Risk & Compliance: Responsible for ensuring product domain delivery supporting the business is compliant with internal compliance controls, security and risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with the required skills to achieve our goals: Demonstrated experience in managing a data or analytics product Good knowledge of Marketing Campaigns design and activation Good understanding and fluency in common statistical methods and concepts Entrepreneurial flair to understand the business issues in the market and to develop relevant data products to meet demand Extensive experience for in the acquisition, exploitation, and management of enterprise data assets and products in a large, complex organization Experience in developing and deploying core data driven marketing & commercial analytics packages in support of rational decision-making, personalization with a keen focus on rapid test & learn development, automation, and simplification of information management. Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and the platforms and tools needed to effectively execute in a data driven manner across owned and 3rd party channels Bachelor s degree in business, Life sciences, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or other analytically based degree or other STEM-related area preferred 10+ years working in Data & Analytics (preferably within commercial pharma space) 5+ years experience as a Product Owner and data product development & project delivery experience is MANDATORY Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Graduate degree, preferably in management, strategy, or engineering An end-user, customer-first mindset open to changing requirements and complex solutions Statistics/ML experience a plus but not required Problem solving and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with business partners in many geo-locations to turn requirements into an actionable data engineering backlog Awareness and understanding of cloud-based product development Ability to analyze complex situations and to derive workable actions - identify, prioritize and weigh options and recommend a value-add solution Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm Strong relationship building skills and executive presence Excellent management skills, coupled with exceptional judgment and tact Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change Ability to effectively work across the various Markets/Brands to gather requirements and gain consensus
