Senior Product Manager
to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our core products in the travel and hospitality sector. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the ability to drive product development from ideation to execution. The Senior Product Manager will work cross-functionally with departments such as engineering, marketing, design, and customer support to deliver a high-quality product that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.Primary Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities.Define and prioritize product features, functionalities, and overall roadmap based on user research, market trends, and stakeholder input.Product Development Lifecycle
Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to manage the product development process, from concept to launch.Lead the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.Market Research & Customer Insights
Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and gather customer feedback to identify product opportunities and areas for improvement.Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with teams across the company to ensure product initiatives align with overall company strategy and goals.Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development progress.Performance Metrics & Reporting
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success, user engagement, and ROI.Analyze product data and present insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.Go-to-Market Strategy
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support to develop product launch plans and marketing campaigns.Ensure the product is aligned with market demand and customer expectations upon launch.Team Performance Management
Oversee and manage the performance of the product team members, including UI/UX, BA, and Scrum Master, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field. An MBA or a master’s degree in product management or similar is preferred.Experience
8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software or tech-driven industries, with at least 5 years in a senior role.Proven track record of managing successful product launches and scaling products.Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product development lifecycles, and software engineering practices.Proficiency in product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha!, etc.Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and use data-driven insights for product decisions.Communication & Leadership
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.Leadership capabilities to drive collaboration and foster innovation within product teams.Market Knowledge
Good to Have Skills:
Experience in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce sectors is a plus.Knowledge of customer experience (CX) strategies and optimization.UX/UI Understanding
Familiarity with user-centered design principles and experience working closely with UX/UI teams to create seamless customer experiences.Data Analytics & CRM Tools
Knowledge of CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, HubSpot) to track customer behavior and product performance.Entrepreneurial Mindset
