ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Entrepreneurial Innovation Manager plays a pivotal role in driving innovation within the commercial aviation technology sector. This position combines the dynamic roles of an innovative business developer and product manager with an entrepreneurial mindset. The candidate will engage directly with customers, including airlines and airports, to identify opportunities for co-innovation and develop solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business value.

​This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by collaborating with some of the leading companies in the aviation sector.​ The successful candidate will contribute to shaping the future of commercial aviation technology through proactive innovation and customer-driven solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Co-Innovation Initiatives

  Collaborate with airlines and airports to identify pain points and gather insights that lead to meaningful innovations.

• Product Development

  Oversee the development and enhancement of technology products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

• Market Research

  Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements, translating findings into actionable strategies.

• Stakeholder Engagement

  Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to drive initiatives forward.

• Project Management

  Lead projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely execution while maintaining a user-centric focus.

• Technology Advocacy

  Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies and practices within the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience

• Bachelor’s in business, Engineering, Technology, or similar.
• 10 years of experience in

  innovation management, business development, or product management, ideally within technology-driven sectors.

• Track record of engaging with customers and translating their needs into successful products or services.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of

  emerging technologies

  , especially in software and hardware related to aviation technology.
• Solid grasp of business strategy, customer development, and startup success factors.
• Familiarity with UX principles that enhance product usability and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies for efficient and responsive delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and trends, along with creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and innovative-driven mindset
