Senior Product Manager, Data Platforms

As a Senior Product Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the development of our data platform stack. You will be responsible for driving our enterprise-wide strategy to enhance the end-to-end user experience in our data landscape. Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will develop a platform that addresses Wayfair's pain points, business KPIs, and technical gaps to deliver a seamless data journey that delights our customers and suppliers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the subject matter expert and owner of your products and the Wayfair data experience - Prioritize feature requests by evaluating business value, impact, risks, and development cost - Lead the end-to-end delivery of platform enhancements and support - Develop and maintain a product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed of goals and timelines - Market your product internally to different departments to drive adoption and measure effectiveness - Translate product strategy into engineering initiatives and stories for execution - Stay informed about technology trends and options to influence product decisions - Communicate goals and progress regularly to stakeholders **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent - 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in product management for data or analytics platforms - Proficiency in data technologies like SQL Server, BigQuery, Pubsub, Kafka, Looker, or similar tools - Experience in developing data operations standards and governance processes - Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Customer-centric mindset with a focus on clear KPIs for product effectiveness - Experience working with large engineering teams and managing multiple initiatives - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize impactful work - Familiarity with Google Cloud and its data offerings We are a company that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
