Your responsibilities as a Senior Print Designer The Graphic Artist is responsible for generating graphic design materials and mechanical layouts using software for layout and image editing applications, with direction from studio lead and management. A Senior Designer acts as a technical leader in projects, ensuring that the team maintains high levels of performance. Has initiative and interest to increase professional and software knowledge and skills advantageous to the industry. Knowledge of print production. Know how of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Know how of Adobe Acrobat and PDFs. • Manage the design of a project; the Print Studio Graphic Designer must have a strong knowledge of graphic design • Share ideas to improve creative ideas or enhancements to internal processes where appropriate • Create and revise various graphic materials including creative (conventional) presentations, mechanical and pre-press documents used for commercial printing purposes and organize various layered file formats • Possess a solid understanding of the industry standard operating procedures, workflow and extensive technical production requirements • Record all labor and materials to the proper internal job numbers on a daily basis • Report to the project manager for all production problems • Respond to clients needs and foster a team relationship with co- workers • Improve overall design, production and client service skills internally and with other agency departments • Provide recommendations and be a source for new proposals milestones • Has worked on high risk and high level creative tasks and has been requested by Onshore and Project Managers • Has created training sessions and shared knowledge with the team • Has suggested, developed and managed internal projects You will fit right in if you have – • Experience in Print Production • Master Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDFs • 5 to 7 years’ experience with technical print background, including final art-proofing, ICC profiles, retouching and color management • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred • Any similar combination of education and experience • English level B1 or higher • High level creative skills and have a good understanding of creative concepts • Mastery of all aspects of the graphic and pre-press chain • Industrial Designer with Graphic Design expertise, in order to support packaging design and others. • Proactive, organized and autonomous • Curious and aware of trends • Creative sensitivity • Highly skilled in InDesign and Photoshop production across print and digital deliverables • Possess a strong attention for detail and is meticulous with their work • Highly organized and can move quickly from task to task • Thrives in a fast-paced setting, takes initiative and works well autonomously
