Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to deliver business intelligence services. It will encompass developing, updating, and presenting Power BI reports, leading BI software development, managing BI tools, strategically displaying insights and results via visualization tools, and contributing to organizational growth. Role :Sr. Power BI Developer. Experience :4+ (Relevant exp 4+ years). Location :Pune. NOTE :Immediate joiners. Mandatory Skills. Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, ETL. Required Skills. Bachelor's degree in Information systems, computer science, or other related field. Strong experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling). Proficiency in SQL Server (writing complex queries, stored procedures, indexing). Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, security setup). Familiarity with integrating Power BI with other tools (Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders. Job Responsibilities. Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements. Create data models and optimize DAX queries for better performance. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data analysis and reporting. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Automate data refresh and optimize report performance. Maintain security and role-based access to Power BI reports. Good communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders. Analytical thinking skills for serving effective insights from the data. Capable of performing advanced-level computations on the dataset. Good To Have. Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.). Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for Power BI deployment. (ref:hirist.tech).
