Job Title : PLC Programmer Location : Faridabad Job Type : [Full-Time] Experience : [3+ Years] Industry : Machine Manufacturing/Industrial Automation Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Siemens PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for our manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming Siemens PLCs, troubleshooting industrial control systems, and integrating hardware and software to optimize machine performance. Key Responsibilities : PLC Programming : Develop and program Siemens PLC systems (e.g., S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500) using TIA Portal or STEP 7. Create, modify, and debug ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text. HMI/SCADA Integration : Design and configure HMIs (e.g., WinCC, TIA Portal HMI) for intuitive operator interfaces. Develop SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control. System Commissioning : Commission and test automation systems at the factory and customer sites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning. System Design : Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define system architecture. Interpret electrical schematics and integrate I/O modules, sensors, and actuators. Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for existing Siemens PLC systems. Perform preventive maintenance and resolve breakdown issues. Documentation : Prepare detailed project documentation, including control logic, wiring diagrams, and operator manuals. Maintain version control of PLC programs and configurations. Customer Interaction : Liaise with customers to understand automation requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Train customer staff on system operation and troubleshooting. Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety standards, including ISO, CE, and industry-specific regulations. Key Qualifications : Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. Relevant certifications in Siemens automation are a plus. Experience : 3+ years of experience in programming Siemens PLCs and HMIs. Hands-on experience with Siemens automation software (TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC). Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET, MODBUS). Familiarity with drives (e.g., SINAMICS), servo motors, and motion control. Understanding of PID control loops and process automation. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Other Requirements : Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and customer support.
