Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PHP Developer located in Kochi. The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP and related technologies. Day-to-day tasks involve writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues, and ensuring code quality through code reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
• Experience with web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with database design and management
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of web security best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies is a plus
