Position Senior Performance Test Engineer -Job responsibilities Develop and implement performance test plans and strategies : Create detailed plans to test the performance of software systems. Conduct system performance tests : Execute tests to evaluate the performance, scalability, stability, and stress of the system. Analyse test results : Provide detailed analysis and recommendations for performance improvements. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders : Work closely with development teams to identify system bottlenecks and suggest solutions. Create technical documentation : Document the testing process and results comprehensively. Configure and maintain test environments : Ensure accurate and consistent test results by managing test environments. Troubleshoot performance issues : Provide root cause analysis and troubleshooting for performance-related issues. Research emerging trends : Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in performance testing. Develop automated testing processes : Increase efficiency and accuracy through automation. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neo Load), programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python), APM tools like (Dynatrace/App Dynamics) and understanding of performance testing methodologies. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, AWS, or ITIL are a plus. Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of industry-standard software development life cycles (SDLCs). Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with multiple stakeholders A self-starter who is proactive and highly motivated. In depth knowledge of trends and development related testing. Should have good analytical skills. Nice to have experience in Agile teams. The ability to think logically. Good memory of how software and operating systems work. Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution. Ability to work well as a team player. Problem solving skills. Strong customer focus. Ability to prioritize tasks Must have analytical skills, good communication skills & proactively doing knowledge transfer
