Pega Testers

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  for Pega applications.
• Perform

  functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

  within Pega environments.
• Validate Pega rules, workflows, UI, data objects, integrations, and configurations.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Participate in

  Agile/Scrum ceremonies

  and contribute to sprint planning and quality assurance discussions.
• Conduct

  root cause analysis

  and support the development team in defect resolution.
• For Senior roles: mentor junior testers, set quality checkpoints, and enhance testing frameworks and automation approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• 2–5+ years

  of software testing experience, with at least

  1–2 years in Pega testing

  (Senior: 4–7+ years).
• Solid understanding of

  Pega rules, case management, UI flows, integrations, and data types

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Pega Test Automation / Pega Unit Testing

  , SOAP/REST testing, or API tools (e.g., Postman).
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Pega CSA or CSSA certification.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Pega Automated Unit Testing).
• Background in large-scale enterprise or multi-market platforms.
