Senior Offshore Structural Design Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, analysis, and assessment of fixed and floating offshore structures . Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local regulations for offshore platform design. Utilize SACS, ANSYS, or equivalent structural analysis software for offshore structural engineering projects. Provide hands-on technical expertise in offshore structural design, ensuring efficient and safe engineering solutions. Lead and mentor junior engineers , providing training and technical guidance in offshore structural engineering. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes related to offshore structures. Requirements: 15-18 years of experience in offshore structural engineering, specializing in fixed and floating offshore structures . Strong knowledge of international and local offshore design codes and regulations . Proficiency in SACS, ANSYS, or equivalent software for structural analysis. Proven experience in handling offshore structural projects from design to execution. Ability to lead a team, mentor junior engineers, and manage projects effectively . Bachelors degree in engineering (postgraduate degree preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
