Senior Nodejs Engineer

This is a remote position.

What You’ll Do

• Own and drive backend architecture, design, and implementation for critical product features.
  
• Translate high-level product goals into iterative, production-ready deliverables and scale them into robust systems.
  
• Build secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant backend services using

  Node.js

  and

  NestJS

  , following clean code and best practices.
• Design high-performance

  RESTful APIs

  and

  gRPC services

  , optimised for low latency and scalability.
• Contribute to system design discussions, perform deep technical analysis, and propose optimal solutions.
  
• Mentor developers (scope increases with seniority), participate in code reviews, and improve engineering quality standards.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and share best practices.
  
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies that enhance the product and developer productivity.
  
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes.
  

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience of 4-8 years with

  Node.js

  and

  NestJS

  in production-grade systems.
• Proven ability to build, test, deploy, and scale backend services for consumer or enterprise products.
  
• Excellent understanding of

  REST APIs

  ,

  gRPC

  , performance tuning, and low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps tools:
