About The Opportunity

Were seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to be part of our dynamic backend engineering team at Wits Innovation Lab. Youll work on designing and implementing scalable server-side applications, integrating APIs, and contributing to production-ready solutions. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building reliable systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js
Build and secure RESTful APIs for large-scale applications
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver complete features
Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance
Contribute to team knowledge sharing and maintain high code quality through code reviews

Skills & Experience Required

5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and backend design patterns
Proficient in TypeScript for developing scalable and type-safe applications
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with REST API best practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical thinking, debugging abilities, and effective communication skills

Relocation / Travel Options :

Willing to relocate to Mohali after 6 - 8 months
Or comfortable with once-a-month travel to Mohali
