Job Description

Work Location : Hyderabad Expereince : 6 - 9 Years We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in enterprise network and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in managing load balancers, firewalls, switches, virtualization, and hyperscale cloud platforms. This role demands strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of network systems. Key things to look: Load Balancers/WAF: A10, F5 and Citrix Firewalls: FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Checkpoint Switches: Dell, Cisco Hyperscale cloud networking experience on Azure, AWS, OCI and GCP Azure Networking: Virtual Network (Peering, Service/Private endpoint, NSG, UDR), VPN (S2S, P2S), Load Balancers, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway (WAF), CDN, Traffic Manager, Azure Firewall, DDOS, DNS, Azure Virtual WAN, Front door, Azure Bastion, NVA, Network Watcher, Virtual Machine. Programming: Python or any language to automate network tasks. Good Communication and presentation skills Job description: Plan and execute in depth technical activity, influencing the direction of activities/plans and providing technical insight and guidance to others Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed troubleshooting methodologies Manage support cases to enable fast resolution that exceeds our customers’ expectations Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes Using the central document repository, to ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practice Supporting and taking ownership of ad-hoc projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre Supporting the team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) and contribution at team meetings Ensure ticket SLAs and KPIs are achieved Ensure escalation procedures, policies and working practices are adhered All records relating to Service Requests, Incidents, Problems and Knowledge Management are completed accurately and within SLA Plan and implement - projects are delivered in line with project quality standards Specialized in supporting one of the Cisco architectures with a broad technical competency in supporting the following: Cisco and Fortigate security, Cisco switching, Cisco Datacenter and A10/Citrix/F5 load balancing. Experience in handling and designing complex network architectures. Cisco CCNP or multiple CCNA across different architectures. Cisco CCIE desired. Working experience of hyperscale platforms like Azure, AWS, OCI and GCP. Proven experience in incident management, service request management and problem solving Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management tools Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client requirements Accurate recording of information A self-motivated attitude Ability to deliver against deadlines and agreed targets Participation in the on-call rotation Show more Show less
