Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (L2) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5+ Years Shift: Rotational Shifts (must be comfortable with shift work) Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates who can join ASAP Global Support Experience is mandate Overview: The IT Engineer- Networking is a member of the Information Technology Department who is responsible for the design, development, configuration, operation, and maintenance of SHIs corporate data networks and supporting systems. They work on a team of engineers and administrators that maintain our global network and the interconnections with our customers and partners. This position reports to the Assistant Manager of Networking within the Information Technology department. Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to: Deploy, configure, and maintain network routers, switches, and firewalls Deploy, configure, and maintain datacenter network switches and controllers Configure and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs on router and firewall platforms Deploy, configure, and maintain public cloud networking components Deploy, configure, and maintain Wi-Fi controllers and access points Deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN controllers and endpoints Deploy, configure, and maintain network access security controllers Deploy, configure, and maintain network load balancers Provide level 3 support for network incidents and problems Create and maintain network documentation External Qualifications: Completed Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience required CCNA certification 5 years of experience deploying and configuring Cisco routers and switches Strong knowledge of IP networking and the OSI model Experience configuring and troubleshooting network routing protocols including BGP and OSPF Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec VPNs Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Prefer CCNP certification Prefer experience configuring Cisco FTD or ASA network firewalls Prefer experience configuring Cisco wireless network controllers Prefer experience configuring Cisco Viptela SD-WAN platform Prefer experience configuring F5 LTM/GTM Prefer experience configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Prefer experience configuring networking in AWS or Azure cloud environments Prefer experience creating network documentation in Microsoft Visio Required Skills: Proficient in configuration of network firewalls Proficient in configuration of Wi-Fi controllers and access points Proficient in configuration of Cisco routers and switches Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow a structured methodology to solve problems Excellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desire and ability to research and study technology to increase knowledge and solve problems Self-motivated and possessing the ability to complete tasks and projects when provided with high level requirements Certifications: CCNA certification is required upon application
