About the Role

Join our dynamic M&A team as a Sr. M&A Analyst, focusing on financial modeling, merger & acquisition activities for the US region, company research, and business valuation. You will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, supporting deal execution from initial screening through closing, and contributing to post-merger integration. This position offers hands-on experience in private equity-style dealmaking for a finance professional seeking growth in cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research & Analysis (US-Focused)

  • Conduct in-depth company research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking for US-based targets.
  • Build, maintain, and update sophisticated financial models for M&A transactions, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company valuations.
  • Perform business valuation analysis and prepare executive summaries, charts, and reports for senior leadership review.

2. Deal Support & Execution

  • Support merger and acquisition activities across the US region, including due diligence coordination and transaction structuring.
  • Organize deal documents, track diligence checklists, and manage updates from advisors, legal teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-impact presentation decks, teasers, and Board materials for M&A pitches and approvals.

3. Closing & Integration

  • Assist with document collection, version control, and finalization during deal closing processes.
  • Summarize key deal terms, covenants, and support seamless handover to Finance, HR, and operations teams for post-merger integration.

4. Portfolio Monitoring

  • Track and update performance reports for portfolio companies with actuals vs. projections.
  • Maintain advanced Excel dashboards and KPIs for ongoing US portfolio monitoring.
  • Prepare data-driven summaries and visuals for quarterly reviews and strategic updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or M&A advisory, with proven expertise in financial modeling and US market transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VBA preferred) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in business valuation, DCF analysis, and M&A deal support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex financial data into clear insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset, curiosity for US markets, and eagerness to master M&A fundamentals.

What Success Looks Like

  • Deliver precise, actionable financial models and valuation analyses that drive deal decisions.
  • Proactively manage multiple deal pipelines while maintaining impeccable organization and timelines.
  • Demonstrate rapid learning, ask insightful questions, and progressively take ownership of high-impact M&A projects.
