Role & responsibilities Business Development Manager is a strategic position who will be primarily responsible in obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from conventions, business/corporate/social events. Key responsibilities include Responsible for identifying opportunities for developing new business in B2B, B2C and B2G sectors. Building strong relationship with exhibition organisers, industry associations, international trade promotion bodies, PCOs, media houses, embassies and consulates, large corporates and PSUs and senior government officials. Effectively presenting the facilities and services HITEX offers to the event organisers. Effectively presenting the opportunities Hyderabad and the region offers to the event organisers Pitching for new business with precision marketing tools, negotiate effectively to acquire business. Be proactive and maintain in-depth knowledge on potential markets and provide regular market feedback Working to stringent targets, adopting a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call. Carryout marketing and promotional activities to create regular enquiries and prospects. Prepare business development strategies and solutions, to drive increased revenue and profit. To market various spaces in HITEX Exhibition Centre. Experience & Exposure Post Graduate Degree with 10 - 15 years experience in Sales. Business Development in MICE Industry Should be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Should have proven track records of success Sound understanding and exposure of exhibitions, conferences and events business. Should have worked for leading organizations in any of the following industries - convention centres, exhibition centres, hospitality, MICE, Trade Bodies/Industry Assns. etc.
