Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Design and Development: Design and develop new cables, including High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables, based on customer specifications and market requirements. Improve existing cable designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and meet industry standards. Material Selection and Testing: Select appropriate materials for conductors, insulation, and sheathing based on technical requirements. Oversee material testing and performance analysis to ensure compliance with specifications. Standards and Compliance: Ensure all cable designs comply with relevant national and international standards (e.g., IS, IEC, BS, UL). Manage certifications and technical documentation for product approvals. Process Optimization: Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth manufacturing processes. Identify and resolve technical issues during production and post-production. Technical Support: Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams for customer inquiries. Assist in preparing technical proposals and product presentations. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 810 years of experience in cable design and development (HV, LV, and EHV cables) Strong knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and materials Proficiency in cable design software and tools Understanding of national and international cable standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and team management abilities
