Senior Manager - Project Pursuit

Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in driving Project Pursuit activities in key Industry segments, with a special focus on the M&M sector for all Emerson businesses. Reporting to the Director East Region & Director Project Pursuit, India, you will lead key accounts management, customer engagement, and project pursuit activities primarily in the Eastern region of the country. Your responsibilities will include aligning sales strategies with business units, influencing senior leadership, and managing key stakeholders to ensure maximum wins in each project. Your technical knowledge of different industry segments, particularly in metals & mining, will be essential in estimating and forecasting business potential. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Project pursuit activities for large projects in the Eastern region, including M&M, meeting and exceeding the budget. - Manage all stakeholders and prepare account plans to improve growth year over year. - Estimate and forecast business potential for each pursuit. - Prepare and track activity charts for each business unit for every pursuit. - Deliver booking growth within the territory, ensuring major opportunities are positioned for success. - Act as the conduit between the Region and Business units within Emerson, representing the voice of the customer. - Coordinate sales activities such as Roadshows, Marketing events, new product launches, account assignments, and ongoing customer needs. - Engage in the assigned marketplace with the complete Emerson portfolio, focusing on driving growth in the Metals & Mining Sector. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. - Demonstrated ability in Technical Sales and Business Development in the field of Instrumentation with a strong track record of driving growth. - Experience engaging with Large Clients and Corporate Houses, maintaining a strong leadership connect. - Strong technical skills to motivate and engage with End Customers and Consultants. - Problem-solving skills, excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and prioritization skills. - Ability to self-manage workload, handle multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines. - Capability to handle conflicting priorities from customers with resilience and strong influencing skills. - Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
