Senior Manager, Product Development Team Lead

As a Micron Storage Business Unit Technical Product Manager (TPM) in the Data Center SSD Product Development & System Engineering Team, your role involves leading the definition and execution of Micron's Data Center SSD vision. Your responsibilities include collaborating with various stakeholders to define industry-leading SSD solutions that meet customer requirements in the capacity SSD market segments. You are expected to utilize your technical expertise in SSD planning to provide insights into new technologies and architectures, assess market potential, and define complex SSD strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, representing Micron at industry events, and leading cross-functional teams to define products for Micron's Data Center SSD storage solutions roadmap. Key Responsibilities: - Define and drive Micron's SSD roadmaps for the Data Center SSD Marketing Team in the Storage Business Unit (SBU) - Develop customer-driven Marketing Requirements Documents for storage products in the Micron Data Center SSD segment - Analyze SSD features and trends in the Data Center computing/storage market to determine strategic product directions - Establish and maintain deep customer relationships to align product plans with customer needs - Lead Data Center SSD stage gates to move products from concept to Plan of Record - Analyze the competitive landscape to position Micron Data Center SSDs for long-term market leadership - Collaborate with the Advanced Engineering organization to ensure Data Center SSD needs are considered in the Micron POR planning process - Act as the Data Center SSD product expert in Quarterly Technical Meetings with OEMs, ODM, and industry partners Qualifications and Skills: - Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams - Proficiency in translating complex technical and marketing information into SSD product plans and strategies - Experience in writing marketing requirements documents that align customer/technical needs with product features - Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with customers and Senior Executive management - Demonstrated business acumen and critical thinking abilities - Experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS or BA) with over 10 years of combined experience in product development, marketing, and customer engagement in the storage or technology-related field - Preferred experience in Solid State Drives and familiarity with Data Center SSD benchmarking tools such as PCM10 and CDM (CrystalDiskMark) About Micron Technology, Inc.: Micron Technology is a global leader in memory and storage solutions, committed to transforming how information enriches lives.
