Job Description

1. Purpose of the Job: - The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing all operational activities of the Unit, overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring efficient and cost-effective processing and distribution of the finished products, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance. The person will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, while driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of high performance. Operations Management : Oversee the daily operations of the steel processing plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity. Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resources to meet customer demands and delivery timelines. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste. Plant OEE Line balancing Driving TPM activities (JH & 5S) Driving improvement initiatives Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet customer specifications and industry standards. Develop and maintain quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure high-quality output. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product issues and implement corrective actions. Customer complaint management Yield of process Addressing Customers requirements Driving Quality improvement projects Production Planning & Scheduling: Work with the planning and logistics teams to create efficient production schedules. Manage material flow to minimize delays and ensure the timely availability of raw materials. Knowledge about OTIF Warehouse management Maintenance & Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure that all machinery is in good working condition. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costly repairs. Downtime analysis and CAPA approach Hydraulics ,Pneumatic issues Leveller and abror head working principal Healthiness of Packaging tools /equipment Educationsal Qualification: B.E. Production / Mechanical Age Group: Below 40 years
