Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Operations to lead and streamline the daily workings of both Rajasthan Studio and Rooftop. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing cross-functional teams, improving operational workflows, driving team accountability, and bringing mature process thinking into a dynamic and young team environment. The ideal candidate is a solutions-first, process-oriented, people-strong leader with prior experience in managing operations in a fast-paced startup or mid-sized company. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Leadership Oversee and guide daily operations across teams including workshops, artist management, logistics, partnerships, and customer experience. Supervise and ensure smooth execution of both online and offline art experiences across Rajasthan and pan-India. Own the end-to-end operational execution of flagship programs, collaborations, and events. 2. Team Management Mentor and manage young, energetic team members by setting clear expectations, workflows, and review systems. Encourage professional development, collaboration, and problem-solving within teams. Lead daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, and cross-functional syncs for tracking progress and aligning goals. 3. Process Optimization Identify operational bottlenecks and implement SOPs to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. Set up systems for task tracking, deadline management, resource allocation, and quality control. Leverage tools and software for productivity, project management, and reporting. 4. Strategic Initiatives Work closely with the Founders and Leadership Team to turn ideas into executable plans. Proactively identify areas of improvement across functions (logistics, HR, partnerships, artist relations, B2B). Drive initiatives such as onboarding new artisans, exploring new geographies, improving customer feedback loops, etc. 5. Performance & Reporting Create operational dashboards and MIS reports to monitor KPIs, team output, and experience quality. Maintain budgets, ensure cost control, and manage vendor/partner negotiations where necessary. Preferred Qualifications 5-6 years of experience in operations, business management, or project execution, preferably in startups, creative, or cultural industries. Strong leadership and people management skills, especially with younger teams. Experience with tech platforms or digital products is a plus. Proven ability to set up and improve operational processes and SOPs. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to balance execution detail with strategic thinking.
