Role Overview

This position will spearhead the company’s digital transformation by driving technology initiatives across all business functions. The role demands strong leadership in technology strategy, deep expertise with SAP S4 HANA, and hands-on management of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and hardware infrastructure, leveraging internal and external resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of digitization initiatives across sales, procurement, supply chain, finance, customer management, HR and other business areas.
• Oversee company-wide technology planning, establishing a strategic roadmap that aligns with business objectives and global expansion plans.
• Direct and coordinate the organization’s digital marketing initiatives—developing strategies for online brand presence, managing digital campaigns, overseeing analytics, and integrating platforms (website, email, social media, and CRM).
• Supervise graphic design activities for all corporate communications, ensuring brand consistency and effective visual messaging across internal and external platforms.
• Direct the integration, administration, and enhancement of SAP S4 HANA ERP systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders and coordinating with a dedicated ABAP developer for customizations and upgrades.
• Manage all hardware-related projects through external agency partners, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure.
• Set and manage IT budgets, technology vendor relationships, and service contracts, negotiating terms and ensuring best value.
• Define, implement, and monitor KPIs for technology performance, process automation, and business outcomes.
• Ensure robust data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in all technology operations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, recommending digital solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
• Lead disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and risk management for IT systems across regions.
• Communicate IT strategies, project updates, and business cases to the management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology roles, preferably in chemical, polymer, or industrial distribution sectors.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale technology projects, digitization/integration efforts, and ERP transformations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA, ABAP programming environments, and business process mapping.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external agency partnerships for hardware and IT services.
• Strong business acumen, project management, and executive communication skills.
• Strategic planning and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering measurable digital impact.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in international technology deployments and global project teams.
• Knowledge of IT compliance, data privacy regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
