Track and forecast budget, process journal entries for assigned programs, review statements, and make corrections, reconcile General Ledger accounts Prepare monthly and periodic invoices for the client by MarketStar policies and the client s approved purchase orders Maintains MarketStar budgets for assigned programs in Adaptive/Workday to help maintain accurate company forecasts Oversee rep compensation plans on programs including base wages & true-ups based on performance Ensures that accounting functions are completed following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Analyzes accounting functions and provides suggestions for improved processes related to the assigned program Assists in the implementation of new systems for different accounting functions Monthly tracking and forecasting of client budget to be used for the MarketStar contract. Reconciliation and reporting of pass-through expense invoices. Analysis of client pass-through expense and recommendation of more efficient and profitable use of the client s available funds. Work closely with MarketStar Leadership and the Business Development Team to make recommendations for redirected spending. Coordinates the collection of financial data from clients/ client delivery team. Cooperates with and assists external auditors during annual and semi-annual audits. Ensures that Marketstar s professional reputation is maintained. Ensures appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding the Companys accounting records. Role could require leading a team of Financial Analysts What will you need to succeed in this role? : Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements. Understanding of General Ledger accounting. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in high-pressure situations. Qualifications: 8-12 years of relevant work experience. Degree in Finance or any related field. Experience with Workday GL and Adaptive encouraged but can be trained. Advanced knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT. Proficiency with productivity tools such as G Suite or Microsoft Office.
