Senior Manager - Engineering

Job Description

Develop and implement strategic plans for engineering and project teams that align with the organisations overall objective • Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance productivity and quality • Lead the development of long-term engineering and project roadmaps, including resource allocation, technology investment, and infrastructure development • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget • Monitor and manage project risks, resolving issues as they arise to keep the project on track • Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders (internal and external). • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment and services required for engineering projects • Ensure all engineering activities and projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. • Promote the culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all engineering project team members. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are being timely met • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, incorporating best practices into the organizations engineering and project management processes. With 12+ years of experience in engineering role and a minimum 5+ years experience in project handling role • Proven record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects from inception to completion • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards .Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD and Solidworks
