Job Summary:

Senior Machine Operator / Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation

• Set up, calibrate, and operate multiple types of machinery including

  Printing, Roll Sheeting, Guillotine/Cutter, V-Mitering, Inkjet, Tube, Taping, Embossing, Card Pasting, Folder Gluer, Double-Side Taping, and Die-Cutting

  systems.
• Adjust machine settings according to product specifications, job orders, and material types.
• Load and align raw materials such as paper, board, or substrates for efficient workflow.
• Ensure smooth machine changeovers for different job runs.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor product quality during and after production to ensure alignment with company and client standards.
• Inspect outputs for

  color accuracy, registration, trimming precision, and adhesion

  .
• Perform on-the-spot corrective actions to maintain consistent quality.
• Record quality checkpoints and collaborate with QA teams to implement improvements.

Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform

  daily preventive maintenance

  , lubrication, and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or operational issues promptly.
• Report complex technical problems to the maintenance or engineering team for resolution.
• Maintain accurate logs of machine performance and maintenance activities.

Production Efficiency

• Achieve daily and monthly production targets with minimal downtime and waste.
• Coordinate with the material handling and production planning teams to ensure continuous workflow.
• Optimize machine setups to improve speed, output, and resource utilization.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for better productivity and cost efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to company safety standards and use required PPE at all times.
• Follow operational guidelines for handling

  UV inks, adhesives, solvents, and sharp tools

  .
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation as per

  5S and ISO

  practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety norms during production activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum:

  High School Diploma / ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or Mechanical/Production Engineering

  .
• Preferred: Additional certification in

  Machine Operation, Printing, or Packaging Technology

  .

Experience:

• 3-7 years

  of hands-on experience operating multiple production machines in

  Printing / Packaging / Converting

  industries.
• Strong knowledge of

  UV Printing, Die Cutting, Folder Gluer, and Finishing Operations

  .
• Experience in

  rotational shifts and fast-paced production setups

  .

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of

  machine operations, print quality control, alignment, and calibration

  .
• Ability to interpret

  job cards, production plans, and quality parameters

  .
• Proficient in basic

  mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

  .
• Familiar with

  UV curing systems, adhesives, inks, and finishing techniques

  .
