Description
You will play a crucial role as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Medtronic's Digital Technology team at the Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges. Your tasks will include: - Designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms - Utilizing software design principles to create production-ready code - Collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets for training and evaluating machine learning models - Optimizing and fine-tuning machine learning models for performance and accuracy - Deploying machine learning models into production environments and monitoring their performance - Developing processes and tools to analyze model performance and data accuracy - Staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and applying them to enhance existing models - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems - Documenting and communicating machine learning solutions, methodologies, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Mentoring and providing guidance to junior Machine Learning Engineers To excel in this role, you should possess the following knowledge and experience: - Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python with expertise in writing Machine Learning code - Experience in full-stack web development using Flask and Panel - Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark - Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning on large-scale datasets - Familiarity with ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and NLTK - Solid grasp of feature engineering and model evaluation techniques - Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS - Proficiency in data orchestration tools and CI/CD processes like GitHub/GitLab - Expertise in deploying and monitoring Machine Learning models Additionally, Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package, including the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
