Senior Life Insurance Transformation Consultant - Financial Services

Role Overview: At EY, you have the opportunity to join the thriving insurance practice as a transformation consultant specializing in life insurances. You will collaborate with clients to understand their challenges, implement innovative solutions, and contribute to the development of the team and EY as a whole. Key Responsibilities: - Support clients in transformation projects, including portfolio migrations and IT platform renewals in retail life and Employee Benefits, managing different project lifecycle phases. - Contribute to developing new solutions for the life insurance industry, such as portfolio migration and process automation solutions. - Share knowledge and experience with EY colleagues. - Build a strong network within the life insurance sector. Qualifications Required: - Educational Background: Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., applied economics, commercial engineering, civil engineering, applied informatics) or equivalent experience. - Professional Experience: 3-7 years in consulting or within an insurance company or broker firm. - Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the Belgian life insurance market, distribution channels, products, systems, and processes. - Digital Transformation Insight: Understanding of how digital transformations and key technology platforms impact the insurance industry. - Analytical & Conceptual Thinking: Excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and a pragmatic approach. - Client Management Skills: Outstanding stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships through solid communication and presentation skills. - Language Proficiency: Native Dutch or French speaker with excellent business English skills. - Team Spirit & Autonomy: Strong team spirit balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy.
