Senior Legal Counsel

As a legal professional with 15+ years of experience in corporate law, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of global and domestic complex commercial contracts/transactions. Your expertise will be crucial in handling digital/IT contracts, financing and leasing agreements, loan documentation, and procurement contracts. Additionally, you will serve as a legal advisor on various business transactions, partnerships, acquisitions, and other complex commercial domestic and global transactions. Your role will involve strategizing, negotiating, and concluding deals effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate on a broad range of global and domestic complex commercial contracts/transactions. - Serve as a legal advisor on business transactions, partnerships, acquisitions, etc. - Handle complex commercial domestic and global transactions, strategize, negotiate, and conclude deals. - Drive transaction risk review and mitigation, provide quick resolutions, and facilitate transparency across cross-functional teams. - Advise on legal and regulatory issues, participate in developing processes, policies, and procedures to reduce legal risks. - Support new business initiatives considering legal and regulatory requirements and business needs. - Work occasionally with external lawyers for opinions and advice on transactions. - Develop functional plans to manage legal matters, modify legal processes, procedures, and infrastructure, and minimize business risk. - Stay updated on the legal and regulatory landscape and changes relevant to the organization. Qualifications Required: - A legal professional with 15+ years of experience in corporate law. - Qualified from a reputed university. - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment. - Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. - Strong business acumen and analytical judgment. - Ability to support multiple matters simultaneously. - Significant international experience and ability to partner with senior management on legal matters. - Logical thinking and clear articulation of thoughts in a concise manner.
