We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in the Eggplant automation tool to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in handling all technical aspects of Eggplant automation and a strong background in the manufacturing domain is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 4 resources. Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using the Eggplant automation tool and its components like Eggplant Functional, DAI, scheduler.
Design and create handlers, collections, and reusable handlers to streamline automation processes. Ensure adherence to best practices in automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand automation requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Eggplant automation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes to align with industry standards and best practices.
Document automation processes, frameworks, and best practices for future reference. Communicate efficiently with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SME in Eggplant automation tool with at least 3 years hands on experience on Eggplant tool, with overall 6 to 10 years experience in Test automation.
Strong technical expertise in handlers, collections, reusable handlers, and automation frameworks.
Preferably, experience in the manufacturing domain using Eggplant automation tool. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and self motivated with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools. Experience with version control systems like Git.
