About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead – Data Privacy to ensure our organization complies with data protection regulations and maintains the highest privacy standards. You will be responsible for shaping privacy frameworks, managing risks, and guiding cross-functional teams to protect sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee data privacy policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with global and local data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).

Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and define mitigation strategies.

Partner with legal, compliance, and IT teams to manage privacy risks.

Lead audits, reviews, and investigations to ensure data protection standards are met.

Provide training and guidance to employees on privacy best practices.

Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries and incidents.

Report privacy compliance status and risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

7+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or information security.

Strong understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.

Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and audits.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are highly desirable.

Ability to design and implement privacy frameworks and best practices.
