Senior Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform various technical and support tasks in our laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing samples, and maintaining accurate records to support the companys production and quality control processes. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine tests on materials and products as per established protocols. Collect and prepare samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and cleaning. Record and interpret data, generating reports as needed. Ensure the lab is well-organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations within the lab environment. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure seamless operation and communication. Required Qualifications : Diploma or degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Laboratory Science). Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred. Knowledge of lab equipment and procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a lab environment. Additional Skills : Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to laboratory issues.
