Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Java Software Engineer located in Gurugram. The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, designing microservices, and programming in Java. Day-to-day tasks include working with the Spring Framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in code reviews and debugging. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate within a collaborative development team focused on Reconciliation applications.
• Coach junior developers and contribute to their technical growth.
• Engage in global project teams to implement cross-functional solutions.
• Liaise with business analysts to gather and clarify technical requirements.
• Actively participate in production support and incident analysis.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and development documentation.
• Follow and promote best development practices (code coverage, design patterns, test strategies, etc.).
• Propose innovative solutions and improvements to the platform and processes.
• Ensure timely, effective communication with all team members across geographies.
