Senior Java Developer:

Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.Troubleshoot complex application issues and optimise performance across systems.Conduct and participate in detailed code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.Define and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Required Skills and QualificationsProgramming: Expert proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles.Frameworks: Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.APIs: Mastery in building and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing API security measures.Databases: Strong expertise in designing and managing relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Tools: Advanced knowledge of Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.Testing: Expertise in automated testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.Development Practices: In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Additional Skills (Good to Have)Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js.Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native application development.Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
